Joyce Cortes McGuire Mackenroth has founded her graphic designing and web development business. Everyday she continues to learn about the latest computer technology and web developments {HTML, CSS, Javascript, more}. She has taken a few classes from Blog Designer Network and Lynda.com.
Joyce is a very motivated, flexible, and focused person who loves to design blogs and web pages, and she has taught herself about web development. Before founding the blog and web designing business, Joyce was a single mother with two teenage sons, she used to be an Evening Care Teacher at the Children’s Center located on the campus of Chabot Community College. She obtained the Bachelor in Arts, Human Development in Adolescence Option, at California State University, East Bay. As of August 2006, she left her part-time job and joined the school for the deaf where she volunteered and served many deaf students, she educated students in many different departments including sports and substitute teaching. While working with deaf students, Joyce started the graduate school and studied the general psychology through the University of Phoenix Online. She found a new full-time career, Community Support Facilitator, at a non-profit organization for disabled adults. She loyally served many, many disabled clients, and she enjoyed working with the staff as well.

My husband and me
Last March 6, 2011 – Joyce had a work injury while working with one of the disabled adults. She realized that her lower back (spine injury) had a small crack, she was sent to the hospital and stayed home for 6 months. While Joyce stayed home, she figured that she should do something crafty. She researched many things through the Internet via her laptop. A few months later, Joyce returned to work on light duty without physically assisting the disabled adults. While working with disabled adults, Joyce found something interesting about blogging, and she was curious to learn how to use blogging and write many posts in her personal blog. One year later, she had a new job in Sacramento, CA where she wound up meeting her newly loved one where both of them worked.
Meanwhile, Joyce really wanted to be a stay-at-home mom and take care of her two boys. She figured out how she could do this in the blog industry. The good news is that she found an amazing hobby she liked to learn about: blog designing and web development. She enrolled in many of the blog design workshops available through the blog designer network.
Finally – Joyce made a decision to leave a very stressful career, she started her blog and web designing business.. In the meantime, Joyce is continuing in higher education – graduate school John F. Kennedy University, for a second master Psy.D degree in general psychology, her goal is to write about how to help people personally.
